Leo Zlimen

St. Joseph's Cultural Center on Sunday, March 12 at 2 pm

This concert will span the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras featuring compositions of Beethoven, Mozart, Liszt, Mendelssohn, Bach, Debussy and Brahms.

Leo began playing piano at 5 years of age. His love for classical music in particular has grown under the tutelage of his teacher, Lynn Schugren, with whom he has studied the past 10 years. Over the years Music in the Mountains has provided him with many opportunities to share his passion with others. The Peers Performing 4 Peers program has brought him to various local elementary schools to play for kids as well as to answer their questions about music. He has also been a featured instrumentalist at their Home Tours Fundraisers as well as competed in the Young Musicians' Competitions.

This free concert is part of Leo's Nevada Union senior project.
